This course focuses on common restorations encountered by the general dental practitioner. The educational learning outcomes cover:

  • Awareness of the drive for good dental aesthetics.
  • An understanding of the basic principles that apply to dental aesthetics.
  • The basics of good composite resin placement and how to optimise aesthetics with this material.
  • Awareness of other methods e.g. crowns or bridgework to improve aesthetics in all areas of the mouth.
